Madhya Pradesh Government introduced the Madhya Pradesh Tribal Affairs & Scheduled Caste Welfare Automation System- MPTAAS Scholarship Portal to provide financial support and welfare services to students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and the Scheduled Tribes (ST). This digital initiative aims to simplify scholarship applications, ensure transparency in the disbursement process, and empower students to pursue education without financial hurdles. 

Through this MPTAAS Portal initiative, students can get up to 1500 rupees per month. This financial aid will help the students lessen the burden of their expenses. The portal enables a streamlined and paperless process, allowing students to apply, track, and renew their scholarships from the comfort of their homes.

What is MP TAAS?

Madhya Pradesh Tribal Affairs Automation System is an online portal launched by the Tribal Welfare Department of Madhya Pradesh. This portal is specially made for students of the SC and ST categories to apply for scholarships, check their status and receive financial aid for their studies directly into their bank accounts.

1. To MPTAAS Portal Registration, open your web browser and visit the official portal.
2. On the homepage, click on the New Beneficiary Profile Registration option.

1. Now, a registration form will appear on the screen. You have to fill in the form with the required details.
2. Then create a Username and password for future logins.

Eligibility Criteria For MPTASS Scholarship

Here is the eligibility criteria given for the MP TAAS scholarship:

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• Only Students of the SC/ST categories are eligible.
• Applicant must be studying in a recognised school, college, university, or professional institution.
• Annual family income should not exceed ₹6,00,000 for ST students, ₹6,00,000 for SC students.
• The student must not be availing benefits from any other central or state government scholarship at the same time.
• Regular attendance in the institution is required.
• Bank account must be linked with Aadhaar for scholarship disbursement.

How To Apply For the MPTAAS Scholarship 2025 Online

Step 1: Navigate to the MP TAAS portal and login with your details.

Step 2: A pop-up will appear on your screen. Now, click on the Click Here option after reading the pop-up.

Step 3: Now, click on the Application Apply option on the PMS dropdown available on the homepage.

Step 4: Now you need to fill in some details in the given fields where you have to select the admission year, select the scholarship type (Fresh or Renewal), and course (post‑matric, professional, etc.), then click on the Go to Apply button.

Step 5: Now, the MP TAAS Application form will appear on your screen. Fill out the application form.

Step 6: Upload all the required documents.

Step 7: Acknowledge the details you have filled in.

Step 8: Click on Submit to complete the application. Note down your application/reference number for tracking.

• The student applies online through the portal.
• The institution verifies the application and uploads the fee details.

Approval by Department

• The Tribal Welfare or SC Welfare Department checks eligibility and approves the application.

Direct Bank Transfer (DBT)

• Scholarship amount is directly credited to the student’s Aadhaar-linked bank account.

Payment Frequency

• Payments are generally released monthly or quarterly, depending on the course.
